  • Thursday, December 5, 2024 - Advanced Placement vs. College in High School  PARENT RSVP
  • Seneca Valley will soon be opening course registration for the 2025-2026 school year, and this is a chance to hear about options for college bound students who can benefit from one or both of these opportunities to increase GPA, potentially gain college credit while in high school, and graduate with less debt and/or finish their college degrees faster.  The program will focus on the similarities and differences between Advanced Placement (AP) and College in High School (CHS - otherwise known as dual enrollment) courses presented by SV counselors. Additionally, the University of Pittsburgh (one of our CHS partner colleges) representative will discuss what the AP and CHS process looks like from the college admissions side of things. There will be time for a Q & A period at the end.
