Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
AP Exams are administered in conjunction with the completion of Advanced Placement courses. Students who choose to sit for an exam may be able to earn college credit based on their score and the AP policy followed by their chosen school. Students enrolled in AP courses will be notified of specific exam registration deadlines.
Seneca Valley offers the following Advanced Placement exams: Biology, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Chemistry, Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles, English Language & Composition, English Literature & Composition, Environmental Science, French Language & Culture, German Language & Culture, Human Geography, Latin, Macro Economics, Micro Economics, Music Theory, Physics C - Mechanics, Physics C - Electricity & Magnetism, Psychology, Spanish Language & Culture, Statistics, Studio Art: 2-D Design, US Government & Politics, US History, and World History.

Advanced Placement Exam Registration
Advance Placement exams will be administered at Seneca Valley High School from May 5 through May 16, 2025. Exam registration instructions are provided to students through their AP teachers and can be accessed in October. The fee for each exam is $105. Registration is completed online through Total Registration from October 1, 2024 through October 31, 2024. Orders placed after this time will be charged a late fee. Exam registrations will not be accepted after March 7, 2025.
