Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test (PSAT)
The Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is designed to prepare high school students considering college for the SAT exam. The PSAT/NMSQT measures Reading, Writing, Language, and Mathematics skills which are important for college success.
The 2024 PSAT will be administered in a digital format and students will be required to bring their fully charged school issued laptop and charging cord with them on test day. They will attend a digital readiness check approximately 1-2 weeks prior to test day, during the school day, where they will complete test setup and preview a sample test.
The PSAT will be administered to registered Juniors and Sophomores on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The cost is $30 and the deadline to register is October 11, 2024. Registration is available using the students' email account HERE.
Test Day Instructions:
Students are to enter through the second-floor student parking lot doors (S16) at 7:45 a.m. Testing will begin at 8:00 a.m. and last approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes. Late students will be denied entrance once the test begins. Calculators are built into the test application but students are allowed to bring an approved calculator.
