We are pleased to share that we are now accepting credit and debit cards to purchase student parking permits online. Cash and checks will still be accepted during the scheduled permit sale dates as noted below. Follow these steps to secure a parking permit for your student:

Step 1 - Before starting the online registration, gather the following:

• Vehicle information, including make, model, year, color and license plate number
• A valid driver’s license
• Vehicle insurance information
• Credit/debit card for online payment, or cash/check if paying in person (note: permit cost is the same for all payment methods)
• Read and agree to the Seneca Valley Permit Rules and Regulations during the online process

Step 2 - Complete online registration

• Access Rydin Permit Express at the following link: https://portal.permitsales.net/driverportal/senecavalley/ 
• Complete the registration form with the prepared information (if you’re a new user, there are tutorials to assist)
• Pay the permit fee:
  • Full year: $130
  • Semester (Half year): $65
• Check the box to confirm you’ve read the Seneca Valley Permit Rules and Regulations

Step 3 - Students must attend and complete a drug test to receive their permit. Testing is available at the senior high school on the following dates and times:

• Tuesday, July 8, 2025: 3–7 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 9, 2025: 8 a.m.–noon or 1–3 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 29, 2025: 3–7 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 30, 2025: 8 a.m.–noon or 1–3 p.m.

Step 4 - At the drug testing event, Seneca Valley Security will assist with final steps and issue the permit once the following are verified:

• Drug test receipt as proof of completed drug test
• Completed online registration to ensure all registration steps are finished
• Driver’s license verification
• Vehicle registration must match the permit application
• All previous student debts or obligations must be settled/cleared

Important items of note:

• If you cannot pick up the permit during the scheduled events, permits will be available after the first day of school, provided all criteria are met.
• Remember, you can pay online with a credit/debit card or in person with cash/check during the drug testing events.
