Seneca Valley's  Academic Decathlon team achieved an impressive 7th place finish at the United States Academic Decathlon National Competition held from April 25-27. Competing against 46 teams from across the nation, including powerhouse states like California, Arizona, and Texas, our students showcased their dedication and academic prowess.

Our team, consisting of Ophelia Crano, Shivani Umesh, Roshini Umesh, Rohin Jayaraman, Kaia Satory, Heath Lyon, Zachary DeVault, Ashley Kemp, and Gavin Cress, not only represented Pennsylvania but also brought home four national medals. Congratulations to Ophelia Crano for her bronze medal in Art, Ashley Kemp for her bronze in Essay, and Gavin Cress for winning both a bronze in Speech and a silver in Interview. Special accolades go to Rohin Jayaraman for being the highest-scoring member of our team and to Kaia Satory, who earned the Most Valuable Team Member award.
